A Community of Shared Interest

VAGA members work in all aspects of the presentation and development of the visual arts, promoting a vital and healthy visual culture  for the 21C.

We fill a vital position at the heart of the visual arts ecology: influencing the external and strategic context for the visual arts, meeting the representative needs of both our membership and where relevant the wider sector, and providing leadership and support to those working in the sector.

As a community of interest our shared expertise and high level advocacy secures a greater recognition and value for the visual arts in the UK.

All we do is underpinned by principles of access, diversity, equality, social justice and environmental responsibility.
