Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art Acquires Beuys Collection [added 12/11/02]
A substantial collection of multiples by Joseph Beuys has been secured for the national collection of Scotland, with the help the National Art Collections Fund and the Scottish Heritage Lottery Fund. The collection of 234 multiples by Joseph Beuys cost $950,000. Beuys one of the key international artists of the second half of the 20th century, believed that everyone possessed creative abilities.
